Digital Marketing Specialist (Dairy/Agricultural Focus) - Full Time
Located in Green Bay, WI

The Voice of Milk is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong understanding of agriculture and the dairy industry to help tell the story of modern farming. The Voice of Milk is a collaboration between Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, the Dairy Business Association, and the Minnesota Milk Producers Association, along with its affiliate Farmers for Sustainable Food. Together, we represent over 1,400 dairy farmers and industry supporters, advocating for policies and programs that support the long-term success of dairy farm families and agribusinesses.

This role is ideal for a marketer who not only excels in digital strategy and content creation, but who also understands (or is eager to deeply engage with) the people, challenges, and opportunities within agriculture. The ability to authentically communicate the voice of dairy farmers is essential. You’ll play a key role in shaping our digital presence -developing campaigns, managing platforms, and translating complex agricultural topics into compelling, accessible content.

What You’ll Do

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that support organizational goals and agricultural advocacy efforts
  • Use analytics to evaluate performance and optimize campaigns
  • Identify trends and opportunities within both digital marketing and agriculture communications
  • Propose and implement innovative campaigns that connect consumers with dairy farming stories

Social Media

  • Manage social media strategy and content across all partner organizations
  • Create engaging, agriculture-focused content (including video) that highlights farmers, sustainability, and rural communities
  • Actively engage with audiences, partners, and industry stakeholders

Email & Content

  • Develop and distribute weekly e-newsletters with relevant industry and organizational updates
  • Curate and create content that reflects current agricultural issues and farmer perspectives

Website

  • Maintain and update website content across multiple platforms
  • Optimize SEO with a focus on agriculture-related search trends and topics
  • Monitor analytics and conduct regular audits to improve performance

Marketing & Events

  • Support communications and logistics for agricultural events and member activities
  • Attend events and capture content as needed
  • Assist with farmer-led communications and outreach initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, agricultural communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in agriculture, dairy, or agribusiness (professional or personal background)
  • Familiarity with agricultural audiences, issues, or rural communities is highly valued
  • Experience with HubSpot preferred
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical or industry topics into engaging content
  • Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with SEO, CMS platforms, and digital analytics

Strategic Account Manager - Full Time
Wisconsin (Remote work with travel within assigned territory required)

The Voice of Milk is hiring a Strategic Account Manager (Agriculture / Dairy Industry) to join our team. The Voice of Milk is a collaboration between Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, the Dairy Business Association, and the Minnesota Milk Producers Association, along with its affiliate Farmers for Sustainable Food. Together, we represent over 1,400 dairy farmers and industry supporters, advocating for policies and programs that support the long-term success of dairy farm families and agribusinesses.

This role is ideal for someone with experience working directly with farmers who is passionate about agriculture, sustainability, and building strong relationships within the dairy industry.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will serve as a key point of contact for members, supporting farmer engagement, sustainability initiatives, and program growth within your assigned territory.

What You’ll Do

Member Engagement & Relationship Management (80%)

  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective dairy farmer members
  • Conduct on-farm visits to provide support, gather feedback, and communicate program value
  • Recruit new members in alignment with organizational growth goals
  • Provide support related to agricultural policy, regulations, and sustainability programs
  • Strengthen communication between farmers and processors
  • Conduct verification checks with assigned labs (virtual or in-person)
  • Support sustainability program enrollment and participation

Sustainability Program Execution (10%)

  • Lead onboarding and contract execution for sustainability initiatives
  • Educate farmers on program opportunities, requirements, and benefits
  • Support data collection efforts for grant-funded and supply chain projects
  • Coordinate with farmers, processors, and project partners to gather required data
  • Assist in reviewing farm-level sustainability reports

Farmer-Led Group Support & Outreach (10%)

  • Serve as a liaison for farmer-led conservation groups within your territory
  • Support meeting coordination, agendas, reporting, and communications
  • Assist with cost-share programs and conservation surveys
  • Maintain membership and sponsor records
  • Help plan and execute educational events and outreach initiatives
  • Support development of annual reports and grant documentation

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree (or higher) in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, Communications, Sales, or related field preferred
  • OR 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • 3–5 years of experience working directly with farmers required
  • Previous experience in the agriculture or dairy industry preferred
  • Ability to travel throughout Wisconsin 50% of the time
